This week, Georgia become the latest state to sign a big settlement with Eli Lilly and Co. over the Indianapolis company's improper and embarrassing off-label promotion of the anti-psychotic drug. The Peach State will get more than $6 million from the deal, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

About 30 states joined the federal investigation. In January, Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller said the Hoosier state would get $7.5 million, representing its share of the Medicaid loss. Prosecutors said Lilly unlawfully promoted Zyprexa for agitation, aggression, hostility, dementia, depression and generalized sleep disorder, although the drug is approved only for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
